Hi, I’m Krishika — a psychodynamic therapist and counsellor specialising in working with adolescents and young adults.

I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure where to begin or how to put your thoughts into words. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind, at your own pace.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change comes through feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we can make sense of things together.

My Approach

My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how past experiences and relationships can shape how we feel, think, and relate to others today.

I also draw from person-centred approaches, meaning our sessions are guided by you — your experiences, your pace, and what feels most important.

I take a trauma-informed approach, placing strong emphasis on Emotional safety, Trust and collaboration, and Building a supportive therapeutic relationship

Who I Work With

I have experience supporting:

  • Adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions
  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, or feeling overwhelmed
  • Those struggling with identity, self-esteem, or relationships
  • Clients who have experienced trauma or difficult past experiences
  • Neurodivergent individuals, including ADHD and autism

My Background

I hold a BACP-accredited Master’s degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Psychodynamic Counselling.

My research focuses on how culture, identity, and relationships shape emotional experiences, which I bring into my work in a thoughtful and culturally sensitive way.
